Waterhole here, the blue ones. Five waterhole at those springs. These are the lily pads growing in the water. Its beautiful, like a paradise.

Pinti Lake, same way water here, any animal can drink. Water turkey, goanna anyone.
The white tree, the seed burns. Not allowed to use ’em. Wiliyin. Kids write their name and it comes out in blisters on the skin.

Collecting Nuts
This story about picking up boab nuts. The boab tree starts flowering in wet season. The flowers are about what time they start flowering then its time for the boab nuts to grow. The flowers are shooting out.
Middle part is about picking them up and putting them in the basket, collecting them. Old people use the nuts for the sugar. Different bush flowers are coming up all around. You see them as you travel around.

Gogo Station
This is about Gogo station on the old road. When I was young we were living there. We used to collect the coloured rocks from the hills, all different colours. Our mothers too and parents collected stones. We would gift it to our teachers and people as a gift from our country.

Tali and Bush Flower
This painting is about the tali (Sandhills) and the bush flowers that come out after the hot weather rain. There are families staying together and going hunting and collecting seed and bush food.

Boab Flower
This painting is of boab flowers. Growing up in Jimbalakudunj, during rain season, us girls would go off playing in the bush. At the end of the day we’d come back shirt full of boab flowers. The adults would tell us how to throw them far away from camp because the boab flowers attract lightning.
