Millstream Lily pond is at the Millstream Homestead.The early settlers brought the water lilies with them and created a beautiful oasis with a large lily pond. This place is a significant site for the Yinjibarndi people and one they like to visit frequently.

Ever since I was a young girl I loved to go with my family fishing we love going to East harding and Jones creek this fishing spot is where we catch alot of samons,barramundi,brims and also mud crabs,Now that im older we take our younger kids out there and learn them the sea side life.
The Pilbara is a land of many Beautiful colours Its beauty blends into the mother earth and against the red,purple hills in the distance.in time and season the yellow wattles,mulla and sturt pea take its toll as the country comes alive with the wild flowers watered by the rain and heavy due during the night.Land and our country also tells a wonderful story about our ancestor’s they walk and lived on the land always gathering food such as fish from the river,hunting kangaroo’s,emu and trcking goanna’s also gathering bush fruits and medicine.
In our land when you come to our country you will see lots of colours in the rocks. This painting is about these colours – ochres, reds and oranges, which stream across the rock face as the sun gets lower in the sky.
I love to look out for the purple Mulla Mulla in July. As the season changes it’s colours change.
