Ngurra (Yindjibarndi Country)- Wendy Hubert

Ngurra, country its beautiful its goonmardii (pleanty of food, good country) We can go fishing, we got kangaroos, turkeys, we never cook in the river, we cook up top. I paint to show people how to appreciate country, to not rubbish it, always pick your rubbish up becauase country will be there forever, for generations to generation.

We have water all the time; it’s wonderful and beautiful. They were supposed to put a boardwalk and they didn’t keep their promise.
