The Gread Sandy Desert

“My grandfather Jukulya (Joseph Woia) and my grandmother Tutuku (Trixie Long) took my dad and my dad’s four brothers and my 6 aunties. They travelled to places in Putuwartu, Jinajarra, Januawanti, Pitarn and the last stop was Wili. Then it was time to travel again! With my grandparents it was a challenging journey for them all and rest of my dad, brothers and sisters went long with my grandmother. My dad and two of his brothers and 3 sisters went their with Dad (Jukulya) Joseph Woia to La Grange Mission. Long time ago. Now it’s called Bidyadanga.”- Agnes Frank
