“My name is Augustine Badal. I work as a Nyangumarta Senior Ranger looking after Country and working on Country. I am from Bidyadanga. I grew up here. Old days it was real good, sometimes hard life. My dad is from the bush and he’s Mangala, and my mum is from Anna Plains Station. She is Nyangumarta. I like making Aboriginal artifacts – the karli (boomerang), tapping sticks and spear thrower. I like fishing and hunting. I am painting Nyangumarta Country where my grandmother come from.”
